One difference is the thickness of the boards, the Deep Embossed boards are 25mm thick and the Enhanced are 22mm thick. The woodgrain is different, with a deeper embossed woodgrain on the Deep Embossed range and the Enhanced range has a two-way woodgrain design embossed into it, which is a little less pronounced. The Deep Embossed board is a bit strong too, although both suitable for commercial and domestic use.
Yes we do all the boards have available square edge, bullnose boards and trims available to add to your order. In comparison to the L-shaped trims, we believe that the square edge boards offer a much neater and seamless finish to a decking project.

Composite decking needs to be installed onto a sub-frame to provide it sufficient support and stability. This sub-frame could be installed into the ground with the deck boards fitted onto it.
Composite decking boards do not rust, as they are made from a wood, plastic mix with no metal within the mix.
Composite decking is a great product when looking for a low-maintenance option. Traditional wood decking is incredibly high maintenance, requiring regular cleaning, sanding, staining and treating for mould and mildew. Where as composite only requires cleaning which can be done with a brush and soapy water or a jet wash every few months.
Composite products be it decking, cladding etc will all expand and contract throughout the year as the temperatures change. If fitted correctly using the recommended fixings these will allow for the product to expand and contract without causing any problems.
It is rare for composite decking to crack, if this happens it is more often than not due to installation, such as end to end boards not being double joisted, not having 400mm centres along each length of board and not using the recommended fixings.
The ultimate composite decking is called capped or co-extruded decking, this has all the protective properties used in the decking as a thick layer around the board as opposed to spread throughout the make up of the board. It being as a thick layer around the board increases its level of protection greatly. This does therefore come at a higher price and is more often used on commercial projects due to it being used for high traffic projects.
