The hedge tiles have male/female parts, that connect together with the next tile. They are very easy to connect together.
The tiles are 50cm x 50cm you need 4 tiles to make up 1 square metre. The Jungle Book tile is the only tile that is 1m x 1m. The flower tiles are 40cm x 60cm.
The hedge tiles have a very thick foliage, providing you with good coverage, ideal for creating a provacy screen etc.
We have worked very hard to ensure that the photographs on the website provide a true representation of the product.
For the best result we would recommend securing a wooden frame to the wall, depending on the size of the wall add in a few mid way timbers, them fix galvanished wire mesh to this frame. Now you can connect your tiles together and secure them to the wire musg using cable ties. This saves you puting a lot of nails/screws into a wall.
When securing the tiles to a fence you could use U-shaped nails, these can be found in most hardware stores. We do not supply them.
Yes they are UV stable and can be used outside as well as inside. In this guide you can learn about the UV stable key feature found in our artificial hedge tiles.
We stock one fire retardant tile the Amazon FR.
The other artificial hedge tiles are not fire retardent. We are working to bring in an exclusive range that is, we are hoping to have these in stock by the end of March – please contact use for more information.
The artificial hedge tiles are made from PU (polyurethane) and have a mesh PU backing.
Yes you can do, you will need a strong pair of scissors to do so and once it has been cut it will not affect the appearance of the tiles.
This can vary per tile depending on the thickness/size of the foliage, they average about 0.60kg per tile for most of the 50cm x 50cm tiles.

You can, but it would work out more expensive for you, it would be better to order the full tiles as this will save you a bit of money. You can then easily break down the tiles yourself.

The Outdoor Look’s range of artificial hedge tiles and pre-made hedges will not fade as they are UV stable which means they can be used outside in all weathers and will not be damaged by the UV light from the sun.
The most popular artificial hedge tile we supply would be either the Amazon tile or the Topiary Boxwood tile. Alternatively for a ready made hedge the Pre-Made hedges we supply are very popular and come in set sizes.
The quick method is to use a stable gun if you are attaching them to a stud wall. If it is a brick wall we recommend securing a wooden baton frame work to the wall, attaching a galvanised mesh to the wooden batons and then using cable ties to secure the hedge tiles to this.
Yes if you select this option. If you do not then they will come as a flat packed.

Unfortunately we currently only provide the wooden troughs, the flat bases or the bespoke metal troughs if requested with your order. Customers in the past have sometimes sourced their own troughs to suit their garden aesthetic
Unfortunately not, this product arrives with us flat pack which we then build for you. We currently only stock the available 4 sizes.

They are not very heavy products, the hedges themselves weight between 3-6kg depending on the size, we would recommend weighting them down. You could use bricks or sandbacks to hold them down by placing these inside the troughs.
Please see the image diagram for more info. The troughs add 30cm in height to the hedges, for example the 75cm high hedge with a trough would total 105cm high. They are all 25cm wide and measure 1m in length.

No, you can not cut the willow trellis as doing so would cause the product to fall apart.

Each flower wall varies in weight due to the amount and thickness of the foliage. However they are all heavy and will require a heavy duty framework to hold them up and ensure they are safe when being used as photobackdrops.
