We apply the first treatment as a surface spray after production. We add the second treatment, a chemical, into the plastic mix during production.
The chemical composition added to the product mix is far superior to the spray. Because it is in the entire product, it cannot be removed, washed, or wiped off. The spray, however, will diminish over time as it only covers the surface. We test our fire retardant artificial hedge tiles to a very high standard to ensure their effectiveness. However this product does therefore tend to be 30%+ more expensive than non-FR products. We can also provide a certificate for our FR hedge tiles.
You can purchase the spray solution online. However it is not something we sell due to it not being an option that can be certified. The spray solution also leaves a greasy surface on the product which attracts dust, not a very attractive look.
