Yes it can, Generally we would advise you keep the system at its designed height as this ensures it meets UK building regulations. You can cut the rail to a smaller size width/length wise, buy using a circular saw or angle grinder with a fresh metal cutting blade. This will allow for a clean cut/finish. You can cut the rail down to any length you require. This would require you to cut the top and bottom rail, ensuring an even distribution of the spindle holes remain across the bottom rail.

We despatch most balustrade orders with in 2 working days via a courier DX. Delivery usually takes 1-3 working days.

DX operate a service where they will contact you via email and/or text regarding the delivery date and time of your order. They will message up to 3 times. You must be in to receive your order, failure to delivery your order will result in a redelivery charge.

For large scale orders this may be delivered on our own lorries.

You will receive a paper copy installation guide in the rail boxes that takes you through this process. You do need to purchase the stair brackets to be able to adjust the rail to run down the stairs. Without these you can not install the rail correctly.

It is just the one length of 6ft rail that is available. This product can be cut to the size you require by yourself or your installer.

Yes it can, to install the rails on a more than or less that 90 degree angle you will need to purchase the horizontal swivel bracket. This allows it to do more than or less that 90 degree angles from an aluminium post.

No it won’t rust. As it is made from 100% aluminium and powder coated. Unlike other similar products on the market that have some steel parts that will rust.

We do accept returns. The products must be returned to us at your own cost within 28days. It must be in its original packaging, unused and in perfect re-sellable condition. You must attach your name and order number to the box/s in order for the warehouse team to be able to assign the return to your order.  When it is received at the warehouse the team will check the items and inform as to if they are in good condition for us to action a refund.

Yes you can, you do not have to order the matching posts (sold separately). This rail can be installed to a brick wall, posts you have ordered from elsewhere etc. You may just need to purchase the correct screw from a local hardware store, for example a masonry screw if attaching the railing to a brick wall.

They are black powder coated – Colour RAL7021

No the aluminium rails come flat packed, with a paper copy of the installation guide in the box. It is a kit that you put together, the posts are sold separately.

If cutting an aluminium 6ft rail into two sections you will require additional rail covers, found here. Each rail kit comes with one pack of the rail covers. The only time you do not need these additional covers is if the rail is being installed using the stair brackets or the horizontal swivel brackets.
