These Plastic Rail End Covers provide the perfect finishing touch for your aluminium balustrade system. Designed to fit snugly into the ends of both the top and bottom rails, they seal off the internal rail cavity, prevent water ingress, and give a clean, professional finish to every installation.
Made from durable, UV-stable black plastic, each cover is push-fit and requires no tools for installation. They are especially useful for covering on-site rail cuts, ensuring a tidy appearance and hiding any imperfect ends after trimming.
Supplied in packs of 4 — two for the top rail and two for the bottom — these covers are already included in every aluminium railing kit. However, they are also available to purchase separately for jobs where a rail may be cut down or split into shorter sections.

The Rail Kit includes:

Cut both ends evenly to ensure symmetrical picket spacing. Always measure carefully and wear protective gear when cutting.
The maximum spacing between posts is 1829mm (72"). This is the longest internal span your aluminium rail is designed to support.
However, you can cut the rails down to fit shorter gaps if needed. Always cut equal amounts from both ends to maintain balanced picket spacing.
Tip: Cut rails approximately 3.5mm shorter than the post-to-post gap to allow for bracket clearance.
